I am going to try and play catch up. This summer came and went. The very start of summer was beautiful. Days were not too hot, the pools were clean, the grass grew in real slow. Now I change my clothes after I walk out to get the mail, where I look each day to see if our neighborhood HOA have stuck a note in our mailbox to kindly remind us that our grass and our shrubs need to be below the roof line. The wonderful things about this summer was Nele's Pool party celebrating her 2nd birthday. Hopefully next year she will be able to greet and thank her friends for coming. This year all of her guests were named "no"and "mine". Another highlight to the summer was baby Luke's birthday. What a great joy and wonderful experience that was. It gets better with each one! Emma celebrated her 3rd birthday (one week after Luke was born). Emma started ballet and she thanks God in her prayers everynight for "my ballet". She also thanks God for "my ballet" at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And on ballet days you have never seen a child leap out of bed more enthusiastic, ready to put on tights and a leotard. I have to pry them off of her when we get home. Noah spent all summer counting the days until soccer came and on the day of his first practice he fell on his shin guard and sat out half of practice. He had his first game this past Saturday. It was so exciting to see how much he enjoyed himself. He scored five goals and loved every minute he played. I love my children so much. They are such a gift in our lives. This summer might have passed by quickly, but the memory of the good things that came from this summer will remain forever.
