Saturday Football...

I have not posted as planned. My camera broke and I am waiting to receive my gift card to go and purchase a new one. Thankfully it was under warranty. This week has been very event full. Saturday Thomas ruptured a disc in his back while playing football with some friends from church. We spent the weekend at the hospital and even got to have a one of a kind date night for the super bowl:) We watched the super bowl in the hospital room on a blotchy TV. The grass was brown and the people were red. The best part of the night was the Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Thomas was able to come home on Monday and he is doing much better. He has his nifty cane that he hobbles around with. We will be going the the doctor tomorrow to discuss what comes next. I have been blessed to have my mommies helpers and good friends to come and help out during the day. You all have brought life and encouragement into our home during a difficult time. The kids are so thankful that daddy is home and okay. Thank you all for your prayers and care. I'll keep you posted.
